Flip's Cacao Bark


This recipe is so simple and I make it whenever I'm wanting to satisfy a sweet craving. This also makes a fabulous nibble to serve with coffee when friends drop in. The great news is that it's packed with nuts and seeds, coconut and limited dried fruit and the raw cacao powder contains magnesium and anti-oxidants - so it's not really that naughty!

INGREDIENTS

2 cups NEW FSNM gluten-free, grain free natural muesli

2 cups coconut oil

¼ cup cacao powder

¼ cup maple syrup (or honey)

ACTION

Line a slice tray (approx 17 x 27 cm) with grease proof paper. 

Combine coconut oil, cacao powder and maple syrup in a saucepan and warm over a medium heat, stirring until well combined. 

Transfer to a bowl containing FSNM gluten-free, grain free natural muesli.

Stir until well combined. 

Transfer to a lined slice tray and freeze for 1 hour. 

Cut into small squares and enjoy. 

Store in freezer.
