Flip's natural muesli biscuits

Makes 15.


  • 2 cups Flip's muesli
  • 1 cup wholemeal flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 50 g butter
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon bicarb soda
  • 4 tablespoons boiling water


  1. Preheat oven to 160°C (150°C fan forced)
  2. Line two baking trays with greaseproof paper.
  3. Combine muesli, flour and sugar in a medium-sized bowl and mix.
  4. Melt butter and honey in a small saucepan.
  5. Add butter mixture to dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
  6. Combine bicarb soda and boiling water in a small container and mix.
  7. Add bicarb soda to biscuit mixture and stir.
  8. Roll mixture into balls, place on baking tray and flatten each ball or leave it as a mound.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Rest in tray for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  11. Store in an airtight container - best eaten within a few days.
